On the scene at Lionheart Capital’s Art Basel fête: PHOTOS

With all the condo projects in Miami hosting art shows and cocktail parties during the week of Art Basel, separating your project from the crowd may be a tough endeavor. Lionheart Capital found its answer with a massive 25-mile-long rainbow beam shooting out from the developer’s headquarters in the Design District.

Lionheart unveiled the art installation by Yvette Mattern, dubbed #RitzRainbow, during a night-time cocktail party at its Ritz-Carlton Residences condo project in Miami Beach.

The event was held in the Ritz-Carlton’s “Villa Lissoni,” the first of the condo project’s 15 villas to be completed so far. Dozens of guests ranging from brokers to art enthusiasts boarded Van Dutch yachts at the project’s marina and jetted out to Biscayne Bay, where they watched the 25-mile-long beams fly over the city.

Ritz-Carlton Residences, located at 4701 Meridian Avenue, is under construction with an expected completion date of mid-year 2017. So far, 60 percent of the project’s 111 condos have sold, with prices between $2 million and $40 million. — Sean Stewart-Muniz and Katherine Kallergis
