The week in luxury: A map of Miami-Dade’s priciest condo sales

Last week was a sleepy one for Miami-Dade County’s condo market, which saw its sales volume halved from the week before and only one deal passed the $2 million mark.

At the top of Miami-Dade’s priciest deals last week was a three-bedroom, 3.5-bathroom condo at the Ocean Four in Sunny Isles Beach. The waterfront unit fetched $2.25 million, or $816 per square foot, after spending only 84 days on the market with Valentina Wish of Beachfront Realty. It boasts marble floors and an Italian-style kitchen.

In the No. 2 spot was another condo with ocean views in Sunny Isles Beach, this time at the Trump Tower. The three-bedroom, 3.5-bathroom brought in $1.4 million after listing agent Marco Antoni Da Cunha of Prestige Luxury Real Estate marketed it for 312 days. The unit’s owner spent $150,000 on upgrading its interiors, according to the listing description, bringing in remote control window shades, Sub-Zero appliances and a built-in espresso machine.

And in third place was a one-bedroom, one-bathroom condo at the newly built 1 Hotel & Homes complex in Miami Beach. The oceanfront unit traded for $1.05 million days after hanging around the market for 326 days under Chad Carroll of Douglas Elliman. It features Brazilian porcelain floors throughout, floor-to-ceiling travertine finishes in the bathroom and a modern kitchen.

After those top three deals, the remainder of Miami-Dade’s 10 priciest sales ranged from $950,000 to $535,000.

The county as a whole saw 100 condos sell last week for $26.39 million, marking a drop in volume of 77 sales and $35.91 million from the previous week. Average prices $263,920 per unit and $233 per square foot.
