Avison Young lands office project near Jacksonville

Toronto-based brokerage Avison Young landed the exclusive leasing assignment for 675,000 square feet of office space planned in Nocatee, a master planned community near Jacksonville.

The developer, VanTrust Real Estate LLC, plans to build the office space on speculation and a build-to-suit basis in Nocatee.

Their initial focus will be build-to-suit prospects and potential tenants for the office development’s first building, a four-story structure with 120,000 square feet of space.

VanTrust Real Estate, LLC is a full-service real estate development with headquarters in Kansas City, Missouri and regional offices in Columbus, Dallas, Houston, Phoenix and Jacksonville. The master developer of Nocatee is The PARC Group.

Ross Carrier and Mark Montgomery, both senior vice presidents of Avison Young, will lead the leasing and marketing of the Nocatee office development.

Carrier said in prepared statement that Nocatee is “the third best-selling master-planned community in the U.S.”
