3550 South Ocean, the first new oceanfront condominium development in Palm Beach Island in more than a decade, unveiled its sales gallery last week with a special broker event.
Among the attendees were DDG CEO Joe McMillan and Caprice Weber, executive vice president of sales and marketing for the Florida team of Douglas Elliman, exclusive sales and marketing agency for the project. The sales gallery is located at 205 South Ocean Boulevard, Manalapan.
New York-based DDG is developing and building the seven-story luxury condo with 30 units, each with its own private outdoor space and unobstructed water views. Units currently begin at $2.3 million.
The building was designed by Kobi Karp Architecture with Garcia Stromberg as the architect of record. Two- and three-bedroom residences, including penthouses, range from 2,500 square feet to 3,400 square feet, and each will have direct elevator access, entry foyers and private balconies. The interior design is a collaboration between DDG and Champalimaud.
Amenities at 3350 South Ocean include private beach access, a beachfront swimming pool and sun terrace, a fitness studio, on-site surf board and stand-up paddleboard storage rack, private gated access and private parking.
3550 South Ocean marks DDG’s first foray into Florida. DDG plans to break ground on 3550 South Ocean this quarter, with completion expected in 2018. — Ina Cordle and Katherine Kallergis
