Sunrise-based home builder GL Homes plans a spring opening for Valencia Bonita, a residential development in Bonita Springs with 997 single-family and villa-style homes.

Valencia Bonita is GL Homes’ first Valencia-branded development in southwest Florida and its 11th statewide. Prices at the Bonita Springs development start in the high $300,000s.

Walk-in closets and screened-in and covered patios are available with all 21 floor plans at Valencia Bonita, which spans 347 acres.

The centerpiece of the development will be a 45,000-square-foot clubhouse with a grand ballroom, billiards and card rooms, a café, and an exercise facility, plus a cooking studio and an arts and crafts studio.

Programming is part of the package. “A full-time lifestyle director will arrange special events for the community, such as galas, cocktail parties, and Broadway-style shows,” GL Homes said in a press release.

“With each new Valencia community we design, we survey our residents to see what they desire most as far as recreation and relaxation amenities, and then we add more features to attract home buyers in this niche market,” GL Homes Division President Patty Campbell said in a prepared statement.
