The week in luxury: A map of Miami-Dade’s priciest condo sales

Condo sales in Miami-Dade improved last week with a big bump in sales volume and all of the top 10 units above the $1 million luxury threshold.

The most expensive unit to close last week was a recently renovated condo at the Setai Resort & Residences in Miami Beach. The 1,316-square-foot unit #2506 sold after 252 days on the market for $3.4 million and also marked the highest per-square-foot price at $2,584. Compass agent Lourdes Gutierrez was the listing agent.

The second priciest unit to sell was a Coral Gables penthouse at 60 Edgewater Drive. Penthouse 3D sold for $2.615 million after 78 days on the market with EWM Realty International’s Judy Zeder. It traded for $826 per square foot.

Following that unit, a condo at Brickell City Centre’s Reach tower was flipped for $1.95 million, or $712 per square foot. Unit 3801 was listed with Joanna Berg of Fortune International Realty for 105 days before it closed.

The county saw 156 condos sell last week for $57.3 million. That marks an increase in total sales volume from the previous week’s $35.8 million and in the total number of units sold. Average prices were about $367,000 per unit and $283 per square foot.

Closing prices ranged from $3.4 million to $1.09 million.
