A 15-acre estate in Wellington will be offered at an auction next week for less than half of the $11 million asking price when the property was listed for sale.
The estate, located in a gated private community called Las Palmas Equestrian, will be offered for a minimum price of $4 million, Platinum Luxury Auctions reported.
Platinum will conduct the auction at Saturday.
Trayor Lesnock, president of Platinum Luxury Auctions, told Mansion Global the estate has a house and equestrian facilities that are both “built to a very high standard,” and at similar estates, either the house or the equestrian facilities were built as “an afterthought.”
The owner, biotech investor Marcia Radosevich, is spending a limited amount of time with her horses, so she has decided to sell, according to Platinum Luxury Auctions.
The 6,400-square-foot house has four bedrooms, a wine cellar big enough or 1,400 bottles, a library, media room, exercise room and an infinity-edge saltwater pool.
The Wellington property also has a 12-stall barn and a guest cottage measuring 1,295 square feet. [Mansion Global] – Mike Seemuth
