Updated, 12:15 p.m., Feb. 21: International model Daniela Urzi and her husband sold their Venetian Islands home for $10 million, The Real Deal has learned.
Records show AZUL P & P LLC is the seller. The Coral Gables-based entity is controlled by Urzi and Pablo Cosentino, a former professional soccer agent.
Urzi has worked for Armani Jeans, Roberto Cavalli and Burberry, among other luxury brands, and has been featured on the cover of magazines like Vogue and Elle. Records show she and Cosentino have owned the Di Lido Island home, at 700 West Dilido Drive, since 2011. They paid $3.605 million for the property five-and-a-half years ago.
The property just traded for $2,000 per square foot. It sold unfurnished.
Julian Johnston of Calibre International Realty is the listing agent. Johnston declined to comment on the sellers or buyer, but confirmed that the deal closed on Friday. The 5,000-square-foot waterfront house hit the market about six months ago for $12.495 million, and sold to an out-of-state buyer. Darin Tansey of Douglas Elliman brought the buyer.
The home, which was built in 1956, was gut-renovated about four years ago and expanded to include an addition, Johnston told TRD. It features a tropical modern design with Ipe wood, a covered patio with a poolside grill, an open floor plan, gourmet kitchen and 80 feet of water frontage. The house sits on a 14,000-square-foot lot.
Johnston said inventory is falling quickly in the Venetians, where two newly built waterfront homes sold since January, at 306 West San Marino Drive and at 212 West Dilido Drive.
“We had a very strong marketing campaign online, which has been really successful for us in bringing in buyers,” he told TRD.
