The Pubbelly Restaurant Group has another eatery up its sleeve, this time at Aventura Mall.

Pubbelly Sushi Market will open later this month in a 600-square-foot space on the first floor of the mall in the Nordstrom wing, a spokesperson said. She declined to provide terms of the lease and agents involved in the deal.

The restaurant will be the seventh for the Pubbelly group, which has locations in Miami Beach, at Brickell City Centre, in downtown Miami and the Dominican Republic. At Aventura Mall, it joins nearly 30 dining options, according to a press release.

Turnberry Associates owns the majority interest in the mall, at 19501 Biscayne Boulevard, and Simon Property Group owns 33.3 percent. The shopping center, which opened in 1983, then doubled its size in 1997 and added Nordstrom and a three-level wing of high-end stores in 2007, is undergoing another expansion that will add a new three-story, 315,000-square-foot retail wing and parking garage.

New retailers include designer Rebecca Taylor, who opened her first Florida boutique on the first floor near Macy’s in October, and Anne Fontaine and Pretty Ballerinas, both of which are set to open this spring. – Katherine Kallergis

An earlier version of this story incorrectly stated the latest mall expansion will be 241,000 square feet. The correct figure is 315,000 square feet.
