From TRD New York: Last year, Tod Williams Billie Tsien Architects (TWBSA) won the competition to design the Obama Presidential Library. Now, we are getting an early glimpse of what the library might look like.

During an event this week in Chicago, former President Barack Obama revealed some of the early plans for the forthcoming Presidential Center and Library, set to open in 2021, according to Curbed.

The library is being built in Jackson Park in Chicago’s South Side, making it the first presidential library to be built in the heart of an urban environment, the Obama Foundation said. Obama added that he hopes the design helps make the area more of a “people’s park.”

Here is a look at what it might look like.
