2000 South Ocean Boulevard, Manalapan

The owner of the Ziff estate in Manalapan is willing to sell the 15.7-acre property for $165 million, a discount of $30 million from the previous asking price. The estate had been listed for sale for 456 days with a $195 million asking price before a recent cancellation of the listing.  Brokerage firm Premier Estate Properties had been marketing the property. The estate owner’s new agent is Cristina Condon and Todd Peter of Sotheby’s International Realty in Palm Beach, who also is marketing a Palm Beach home owned by Netscape billionaire Jim Clark, who wants $137 million for the residence. Neither property is listed on a multiple listing service.

The estate at 2000 South Ocean Boulevard in Manalapan has a 33-room mansion and 1,200 feet of frontage on the Atlantic Ocean. An underground tunnel beneath the island’s main road connects the mansion to a guest home on the Intracoastal side of the property. It also comes with two four-bedroom beach cottages, a seven-bedroom home called the “Mango House,” and a manager’s house with four apartments. [Palm Beach Post] Mike Seemuth

Correction: An earlier version of this story incorrectly identified the asking price of Jim Clark’s Palm Beach home. It’s pm the market for $137 million, not $135 million.
