Baptist Health South Florida just paid $6.7 million for a vacant site at 9601 Northwest 58th Street near the Trump National Doral golf course and resort.

The 113,256-square-foot plot’s price equates to about $60 per square foot.

Alfredo Reviati’s New Land Doral LLC is the seller, and paid $4.95 million for the vacant land in 2016. The limited liability corporation rezoned the site from industrial to corridor commercial.

Baptist Health South Florida plans to build an outpatient facility on the site across from the Miami Dade Police Department, according to the South Florida Business Journal.

Earlier this month, Baptist Health closed at $34 million loan to build a 122,000-square-foot outpatient facility on Alton Road.

“With this purchase, we will be expanding outpatient services to complement our existing urgent care and physician offices that have been serving the Doral community for more than 10 years,” Baptist Health spokesperson Dori Robau Alvarez told the Business Journal. [SFBJ] — Grace Guarnieri
