Florida Atlantic University’s new football coach Lane Kiffin bought a house in Boca Raton for $2.1 million. The 6,190-square-foot house at 7031 Northeast 8 Avenue last sold in 2004 for $1.1 million.

Kiffin formerly was head football coach at the University of Tennessee and the University of Southern California. He was an assistant football coach at the University of Alabama before joining FAU to coach the Fighting Owls, which have lost more football games than they have won every year since 2008.
