Condo sales in Miami-Dade dipped last week.
The county saw 135 condos trade last week for $53.6 million, a decline from the previous week’s $61.3 million. The average prices were about $419,000 per unit and $290 per square foot.
The priciest sale also set a record for the highest price per square foot for a condo in Miami-Dade so far this year. A penthouse at the W Hotel & Residences South Beach sold for $10.2 million, $3,502 per square foot. Farid Moussallem and Miltiadis Kastanis of Compass were the listing agents of the three-bedroom, nearly 3,000-square-foot unit. Records show British hedge fund manager sold the penthouse, which features a rooftop deck with a private lap pool.
The second most expensive closing last week was the $5.5 million sale of unit 2802 at the Setai Residences. Eloy Carmentate of Douglas Elliman had the listing for 433 days before it sold. The 2,354-square-foot unit traded for $2,336 per square foot.
