Douglas Elliman is expanding its footprint in Palm Beach County.

The New York-based brokerage opened an office within the Mizner Country Club in Delray Beach, marking the 20th office and more than 1,000 agents for Elliman Florida, according to a press release. Steven Solomon, a senior director of luxury sales, and Dawn Schwartz, an associate, will lead the Mizner office at 16104 Mizner Club Drive.

The opening means that the brokerage is now handling 16 of 44 listings at the country club, which has in total 471 single-family homes, a redesigned 18-hole golf course and a nearly 42,000-square-foot clubhouse. The Toll Brothers developed the houses. The golf course was recently renovated, and new amenities will be added to the property.

Last year, Elliman entered the Delray market with the acquisition of Tauriello & Co. Real Estate.

Delray Beach has seen steady growth over the past 20 years by developing its Atlantic Avenue corridor into a high-end destination for restaurants, bars, nightclubs and boutiques with a small-town feel and just blocks from the ocean.

Elliman is also now the exclusive on-site firm for Palm Beach Polo Golf and Country Club in Wellington, as well as The Tesoro Club in Port St. Lucie, according to the release. The firm has recently expanded to Jupiter, Bay Harbor Islands and opened a new Brickell-area office. – Katherine Kallergis
