For the fourth year in a row, President Donald Trump sued the Palm Beach County property appraiser, claiming that the appraised value of Trump National Golf Club  for property tax purposes is an overestimate. The 213-acre property is worth $18.4 million, according to County Appraiser Dorothy Jacks. Trump claims the value should be $5 million or less.

Based on the current $18.4 million appraisal, Trump’s annual property tax would be $383,171. In his 2014 suit against the county appraiser, Trump said he paid $5 million in 2012 for the then-distressed Jupiter golf property. In February, a federal judge ordered Trump to pay almost $6 million of refundable deposits, plus interest, to former members of the Trump National Golf Club. [Palm Beach Post] Mike Seemuth
