Hires and promotions at Cushman, Coldwell Banker, FECR and more

CBRE hired four top commercial real estate women in South Florida, including a top retail broker.

Ana Barcelo left Koniver Stern Group to return to CBRE as first vice president of Advisory & Transaction Services. At Koniver Stern, Barcelo represented retail landlords at 2020 Salzedo, Giralda Place, Panorama Brickell and Brickell Heights. She was also previously with the Allen Morris Company, and before that with the commercial division of Related Cervera Realty Services. Barcelo will focus on high street retail at CBRE.

Erin Efstathion joined CBRE’s capital markets team as vice president of Debt & Structured Finance. Efstathion left Walker & Dunlop, where she was focused on financing for developers and owners nationwide.

CBRE also brought on Love Levy as general manager of its asset services team, and Ali Brody as manager of the business development team. Levy, a commercial portfolio manager, has more than 20 years of experience with Transwestern, Rivergate KW Residential and other firms. Brody most recently led business development at CarSaver.com and client management at Ten-X.

Arden Karson, who left the Related Group to lead CBRE’s South Florida offices at the start of the year, said in a release that the firm’s “competitive advantage lies in preserving our diversity and inclusion” in an industry that has historically been a man’s game.

Dean Warhaft was promoted to chief development officer of Florida East Coast Realty. He was previously vice president and development coordinator of the development company, which is wrapping up construction of Panorama Tower, a mixed-use skyscraper in Brickell.

Cushman & Wakefield hired Dominic Delgado as a senior director focused on expanding the brokerage’s retail division in Palm Beach and Broward counties. He was previously executive vice president at LDR Partners, a full-service Florida-based real estate firm.

Dailen Rodriguez is now mall manager at The Falls. Rodriguez has worked for Simon for 10 years and at The Falls for six years.

Coldwell Banker hired Andres Giacomotti and Armando Torres as sales associates at its Brickell-Key Biscayne office, and Maria Plasencia, who was previously with Dezer Platinum Realty, in Aventura.

MHK Architecture and Planning, a Naples-based firm, hired Caroline Koons Forrest as director of its Palm Beach office located at 211 Seaview Avenue in Palm Beach.
