The week in luxury: A map of Miami-Dade’s priciest condo sales

Closing prices in the top 10 deals ranged from $1.3M to $4.5M

Condo sales in Miami-Dade were back up following the Fourth of July holiday week.

The county saw 166 condos trade last week for $73 million, a boost from the previous week’s $39 million. The average prices were about $438,000 per unit and $265 per square foot.

A penthouse at the Acqualina Resort & Spa closed for $4.5 million, marking the most expensive unit to sell last week in the county. The five-bedroom, 5,672-square-foot penthouse was on the market for about a year with Lana Bell of One Sotheby’s International Realty before it traded hands.

In Miami Beach, a penthouse at Tower House fetched the second highest price, $4.2 million or $969 per square foot. Nina Rudolph of Harding Realty had the listing for 94 days before it sold.
