Coconut Creek-based Butters Construction and Development and a joint-venture partner are activating their re-positioned office building in downtown Coral Springs by leasing ground-floor space to four restaurants.

Two of the restaurants, I Heart Mac & Cheese and Johnny Manãnas, already have opened at the office building at 3111 North University Drive in Coral Springs, called University Place.

The other two restaurants, Lady and the Mug and 1000 Degrees Neapolitan Pizza, are expected to open in fall at University Place. The 10-story, 205,000-square-foot building occupies a seven-acre site, within walking distance of a new municipal government complex.

Lady and the Mug is a specialty coffee shop, and 1000 Degrees is a fast-casual restaurant where customers create their own hand-tossed pizzas in less than two minutes.

I Heart Mac & Cheese is a fast-casual restaurant that specializes in custom, made-to-order macaroni and cheese. Johnny Manãnas is a Mexican-themed restaurant with a full bar and outdoor seating.
