A top producer at One Sotheby’s International Realty left after five years to join the competition.

Bragi Sigurdsson, who closed about $40 million in sales in 2016, is now a senior director of luxury sales at Douglas Elliman in Coconut Grove. Sigurdsson joined Elliman because it “has more of a presence” than One Sotheby’s, he said.

Before One Sotheby’s, Sigurdsson founded and owned Sigurdsson Schecter Real Estate. The Icelandic native has been active in Miami Beach, Coconut Grove and Edgewater for nearly 20 years. He’s bringing with him about $80 million of units that are on the market or will be listed within the next few weeks.

One Sotheby’s recently hired Bobby Auerbach, a former top producer at EWM Realty International and Keller Williams, to focus on Broward County.

Florida East Coast Realty promoted Nikkie Abascal as its director of leasing. Abascal, who has worked for FECR since 2011, is now responsible for lease negotiation and administration of FECR’s office and retail properties in downtown Miami, including One Bayfront Plaza and Bayfront Executive Center, as well as the commercial space at Opera Tower and the Club at Brickell Bay.

Cushman & Wakefield hired Adam Talbot as an associate broker on the industrial brokerage team led by Chris Metzger, Richard F. Etner Jr., Christopher Thomson and Matthew G. McAllister. Talbot will be based out of West Palm Beach. He was previously regional account manager at Green Hills Software Inc. where he was responsible for the software company’s accounts in Europe, the Middle East and Africa.

Commercial real estate brokerage Steinbauer Associates Inc. hired Everett “Stony” Stonebraker as a Realtor associate in its Miami office. Stonebraker was previously managing partner of Stonemill Holdings LLC.

Coldwell Banker Aventura hired Andrew Bolivar as an associate. He was previously with Lux Realty Solutions.

Emmanuel Sanchez joined Keller Williams Miami Beach Realty.
