Developer Pedro Martin just dropped $4 million on a luxury condo at Grove at Grand Bay.
Martin, chairman and founder of Terra Group, and his wife Maria picked up a 15th floor unit at the Coconut Grove complex, according to Gossip Extra. His unit features 12-foot ceilings, a balcony and nearly 5,000 square feet of space.
Martin made headlines earlier this year when he won a temporary restraining order against his on-again, off-again mistress, alleging cyberstalking, harassment and attempted extortion. She lives in a $3 million condo he purchased in Key Biscayne.
Terra, led by Martin’s son David Martin, completed Grove at Grand Bay about a year ago. The 98-unit, twin 20-story development was designed by starchitect Bjarke Ingels along with John Nichols of Nichols Brosch Wurst Wolfe & Associates.
Sales launched in 2012, and prices ranged from about $1 million to $14 million, excluding a $28 million penthouse.
Other buyers so far include Aztec Group founder and CEO Ezra Katz; hotel developer Bernard Wolfson; and family wealth manager Didier Doucet. [Gossip Extra] – Katherine Kallergis
