A Chilean company has paid $6.5 million for a retail center north of Orlando with help from a Miami-based bank.

Chile-based Cadiz Enterprises acquired the Howell Branch Corners retail center in Casselberry, paying about $366 per square foot for the 17,765-square-foot property.

Howell Branch Corners has a 77 percent occupancy rate, and its tenants include BB&T, Starbucks and T-Mobile.

Miami-based TotalBank made a $4.2 million loan to Cadiz Enterprises in connection with its acquisition of the retail center, located at 2525 Howell Branch Road in Casselberry.

Jesus Arreaza of TotalBank was the lending agent for the loan to Cadiz Enterprises.
