South Florida lease roundup: One Biscayne Tower scores 65,000 sf of leases & more

New leases also at Corporate Center at the Gardens and Mizner Park Office Tower

One Biscayne Tower adds more than 65,000 square feet of leases

Several companies have signed leases at One Biscayne Tower in downtown Miami, according to the firm that brokered the deals.

Combined, the leases take up more than 65,000 square feet of office space at the tower at 2 South Biscayne Boulevard.

Cushman & Wakefield’s Brian Gale, Andrew Trench, Ryan Holtzman and Jeannette Mendoza represented the building owner L&B Institutional Fund.

Companies include Kaplan Zeena LLP and The Panama Maritime Authority, which relocated its offices to One Biscayne Tower. Banco do Brasil Securities, LLC and MGM Holdings, LLC renewed their leases. And law firms of Wald, Gonzalez & Graff, P.A. and Lipcon, Margulies, Alsina & Winkleman, P.A. also renewed leases.

Stantec Architecture renewed and expanded its lease at One Biscayne Tower. The firm now leases more than 22,000 square feet on the 15th and 16th floors. Research to Practice renewed its 13,426-square-foot headquarters lease.

The leases at One Biscayne Tower are valued at $20 million, according to a release. In all, One Biscayne Tower has about 700,000 square feet of space.

Corporate Center at the Gardens scores 36,096-square-foot lease

Corporate Center at the Gardens, a mid-rise office complex at 4200 and 4400 Northcorp Parkway, has scored a 36,096-square-foot lease, according to the firm that brokered the deal.

Garden of Life at Corporate Center will be expanding its presence in Building 4200 from 27,958 square feet to 36,096 square feet, an increase of 8,138 square feet.

Garden of Life is a nutritional food supplement company owned and founded by writer and motivational speaker Jordan S. Rubin. The company offers more than 250 branded supplements, according to a release.

Cushman and Wakefield’s Anthony Librizzi secured the renewal and expansion on behalf of New York-based building owner Alchemy-ABR Investment Partners.

Corporate Center at the Gardens sits on a 6.2-acre parcel in PGA Professional Center. Other tenants include Oxford Global Resources, Olympus Insurance Company and Weiss Research, Inc..

The campus is currently 100 percent occupied, according to the release.

Mizner Park Office Tower wins 11,486-square-foot lease

Mizner Park Office Tower in Boca Raton, a 167,637-square-foot, seven-story mixed-used tower, has scored an 11,486-square-foot lease, according to the firm that brokered the deal.

White Oak Commercial Finances LLC is a San Francisco-based investment advisor focused on direct lending and specialty finance, according to a release. White Oak has offices in New York, London, Chicago, Los Angeles, Denver, Atlanta, Charlotte, Hong Kong and Shanghai.

Cushman & Wakefield’s John K. Criddle and Joseph J. Freitas represented building owners GGP and Clarion Partners in securing the lease.

Mizner Park Office Tower is about 89 percent occupied, according to the release. Tenants include Kaufman, Rossin & Co.; Gray Robinson, PA; West Park Capital, D.A. Davidson & Co.; Mesirow Financial; Wintergreen; Morrison Brown and Brockway Moran & Associates.
