WATCH: South Florida’s top resi brokers tackle the shifting real estate landscape
Panelists discussed slow market, pricing, sexual harassment in the industry and more
The slow market, impact of Hurricane Irma and sexual harassment were among the talking points during the residential panel at The Real Deal’s Fourth Annual Miami Real Estate Showcase & Forum in October.
Ron Shuffield, Nancy Klock Corey, Andres Asion, Jay Parker and Alicia Cervera Lamadrid, were joined by moderator Stuart Elliott, TRD’s editor-in-chief, on the panel, titled “Finding the buyers: tackling a shifting residential landscape.”
Making sure sellers are educated is key to closing a deal in a slow market, Shuffield said.
Panelists also spoke candidly about sexual harassment in the industry in the wake of the Harvey Weinstein firestorm and the psychological impact of the now-viral images of Brickell’s flooded streets during Hurricane Irma.
