Movers & Shakers: Ex-Related VP Eric Fordin joins Mast Capital & more

New hires and promotions at Coconut Grove BID, Coastal, BHS Miami

Former Related Group vice president Eric Fordin recently left the company for Mast Capital. Fordin was with the Miami-based development firm for more than 13 years, according to his LinkedIn profile. He’s now managing director and executive vice president of development of Mast Capital in Miami Beach, which is led by CEO Camilo Miguel Jr.

At Related, Fordin recently worked on projects that include Hyde Resort and Residences, Hyde Beach House and Residences by Armani/Casa.

The Coconut Grove Business District named a new executive director, Nicole Singletary. Singletary was communications and community affairs director for the Town of Miami Lakes. As BID director, she’ll oversee a multimillion-dollar sidewalk restoration and beautification project along the district’s main corridors, in addition to other projects.

Patrick E. Murphy officially rejoined Coastal Construction Group as vice president. The former congressman will focus on Coastal’s expansion throughout Florida. He’s based at the company’s Palm Beach office.

Brown Harris Stevens Miami promoted Ingrid Sanchez to director of operations. She’ll oversee the brokerage’s six Miami offices. The company also promoted Rochelle Fraga to director of marketing. Both Sanchez and Fraga worked for Avatar Real Estate Services before it was acquired by Brown Harris Stevens earlier this year.

Kaufman Lynn Construction promoted Tayler Novick to human resources manager.

Skanska USA made four promotions: Nicole Heran to project executive, Nelmarie Bowe to senior project manager, and Dana Nelson and Alvaro Sanchez to project managers.

Sharon Beck joined Keller Williams Miami Beach.

Transwestern hired Paris Williams as a Geographic Information Systems research analyst in Miami. She’s an adjunct professor for GIS and geography at Broward College and was previously research and GIS coordinator for the Miami Downtown Development Authority.

Grover Corlew named Laura J. Goetz vice president of property management. She was previously district property manager for Stiles Property Management, covering Broward and Palm Beach counties.
