Kenneth Chenault is stepping down as CEO of Amex after 37 years at the company.

The St. Regis was completed in 2011. Qatar’s largest development firm, Al Rayyan Tourism Development Company, acquired the hotel component of the property in 2014 for $213 million, or over $1 million a room.
