A prominent surgeon couple from New York just closed on a luxury condo in Surfside, property records show.

Dr. Mantu Gupta, a top urologist, and his wife, Dr. Lopa Gupta, a plastic surgeon, paid $6.35 million for unit 705S at the Four Seasons Private Residences at The Surf Club.

Mantu Gupta is a professor of urology at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai and director of endourology for the Mount Sinai Health System. Lopa Gupta, of Park Avenue Facial Aesthetics, opened a Miami office at 4500 Biscayne Boulevard in 2016, according to her practice’s website.

One Sotheby’s International Realty’s Joelle Oiknine represented the Guptas.

At the Four Seasons, the Guptas neighbors include Theory co-founder and CEO Andrew Rosen, Aldo founder Albert Bensadoun, and New York real estate developer Howard Swarzman. Last month, hedge funder Daniel Nir and philanthropist Jill Braufman plunked down $12 million for a penthouse in the north tower of the development.

Fort Partners completed the project, which includes a 77-room hotel and two 12-story residential towers, in 2017. Units range from $3.7 to $31 million, and from 1,800 square feet to more than 7,000 square feet.

The development also features a private club, two restaurants, four swimming pools, cabanas, a gym and oceanside gardens. It was designed by Pritzker Prize-winning architect Richard Meier with Kobi Karp.
