Condo sales shot up in Miami-Dade County last week.
The county recorded 114 sales for a total of $77.5 million, a big increase from the previous week’s $35 million sales volume for 90 units. Condos last week sold for an average price of about $680,000, or nearly $365 per square foot.
The priciest deal was the $13.75 million sale of unit 3803 at the Continuum South Beach. Coldwell Banker’s Jill Hertzberg had the listing for 305 days before it sold. Jonathan Corso, also of Coldwell Banker, represented the buyer. The four-bedroom, 5,049-square-foot unit sold for $2,723 per square foot.
The $8.7 million sale of penthouse 2 at the W South Beach was the second most expensive closing last week. The 2,647-square-foot, three-bedroom unit was on the market for over a year with Engel & Völkers’ Luis Gonell. Lisa Van Wagenen of Brown Harris Stevens Miami represented the buyer.
Closing prices in the top 10 deals ranged from $1.3 million to $13.75 million.
