Developer and investor Moishe Mana has completed a deal to expand his corporate document storage company, signing a lease for a 120,000-square-foot space in Miami Gardens, The Real Deal has learned.
The firm, GRM Information Management, will occupy the warehouse at 15801 Northwest 49th Avenue. Jason and Marcos Morjain of Warehomes are the property owners. Jason Morjain confirmed the deal. Terms were not disclosed.
GRM operates at least one other branch in Miami, at 1801 Northwest First Avenue. It is unclear whether the company is moving out of its existing location. A representative for the company was not immediately available to comment.
Mana owns 1 million square feet of building space and 8 acres of land in the Flagler area of downtown Miami. In Wynwood, he has amassed 40 acres where he plans to build the Mana Wynwood Americas-Asia Trade Center & International Financial Center, a trade hub and cultural campus set to break ground this year.
GRM operates more than 5 million square feet of warehouse space in the United States, South America, China and Tanzania. For the new lease deal, the company was represented by Rafael Villamizar of Vertical Strategies Real Estate. Warehomes was represented by Ted Konigsberg of Infinity Commercial Real Estate.
Warehomes acquired the warehouse for $8.8 million in October from Precision Trading Corp., which now occupies about 60,000 square feet in the building. The company is in the process of moving out.
