Condo sales volume in Miami-Dade is on the rise.
The county recorded 162 closings for a total of $77.6 million, up from the previous week’s $69 million sales volume for 173 units. Condos last week sold for an average price of about $479,000 or $328 per square foot.
The priciest deal was the $5.4 million sale of upper penthouse 4 at Club Tower II in Key Biscayne. The four-bedroom, 5,110-square-foot unit traded hands for more than $1,000 per square foot after only 55 days on the market. Douglas Kinsley represented the seller, and Rita Benavides-Munoz brought the buyer.
The second most expensive condo sale in Miami-Dade was also in Key Biscayne. Unit 906S at Oceana Key Biscayne sold for $3.37 million, or nearly $1,500 per foot. Lucas Boccheciampe was the listing agent and Bruno Junqueira represented the buyer.
Closing prices in the top 10 deals ranged from $1.34 million to $5.4 million.
