A mansion in Naples mansion built for professional golfer Rocco Mediate is headed for auction this month.

Elite Auctions will conduct an auction of the property without reserve, or a minimum bid, starting at 11 a.m. on May 19.

SunTrust Bank seized the house from Mediate in 2014 during a period of financial hardship for the golfer and sold the property.

The current owners have tried periodically over the last two years to sell the house, most recently at an asking price of $3.2 million.

Mediate, 55, lived for almost 10 years in the two-story, 7,167-square-foot house, which overlooks the 15th hole at the Talis Park golf course in Naples.
