KLX Aerospace Solutions to move HQ to Hialeah Gardens
Aircraft services company KLX Aerospace Solutions will soon be landing at its new headquarters in Hialeah Gardens.
The company just announced it’s moving out of its Doral location at 9835 and 10000 Northwest 15th Terrace and moving into a new built-to-suit 500,000-square-foot, two-story distribution facility at 3760 West 108th Street.
Flagler Global Logistics, a subsidiary of Florida East Coast Industries is the developer. The distribution center is part of Flagler’s Countyline Corporate Park, where KLX will be an anchor tenant by the first quarter of 2019.
Boeing Co. recently announced it plans acquire KLX for $4.25 billion. The company focuses on distribution, logistics and technical services for the aerospace and energy services markets. The company’s lease includes the option to expand.
Dania Beach industrial park secures 20k sf of leases
Two companies leased a combined 20,000 square feet at the Broward International Commerce Center in Dania Beach.
Distribution logistics company Custom Service Distribution is relocating out of its existing warehouse in Pembroke Park and into a 11,910-square-foot space at 283 North Bryan Road. The firm plans to move in by August, according to a press release.
Great HealthWorks, a health care supplement company, inked an 8,858-square-foot lease at 313 and 321 North Bryan Road with plans to move into 252,000-square-foot park this month. It’s currently headquartered in Fort Lauderdale and will use the Dania Beach space as its distribution center.
Cushman & Wakefield’s Chris Metzger, Richard F. Etner Jr., Christopher Thomson and Matthew G. McAllister represented the landlord, a company tied to Danto Investment Company in Troy, Michigan.
The four-building warehouse and distribution campus was developed between 1996 and 2011 on a 22.3-acre site at 241 to 349 North Bryan Road. The property is 98 percent leased, according to a spokesperson.
Consulting firm inks 25k sf lease in Miami Gardens
Occasions Inc., a consulting firm, secured a 25,180-square-foot lease at the 330-acre Sunshine State Industrial Park in Miami Gardens.
Rise Realty’s Keith Darby represented the tenant. Records show Atlanta-based MDH Partners paid $6.8 million for the 104,225-square-foot warehouse at 1605 Northwest 159th Street last year. It was built in 1974.
Sunshine State Industrial Park has more than 5 million square feet of industrial space. Acorn East Paper Products Company also recently moved into the park.
Tax app moves HQ to Coral Gables
Miami-based Taxfyle, dubbed “the Uber for taxes,” just moved its headquarters to Coral Gables from Coconut Grove.
Taxfyle is leasing the 2,500-square-foot second floor of 2903 Salzedo Street, according to broker Scott Sime of Sime Realty Corp. He’s listing the building for sale.
The company previously leased the second story of the building at 3059 Grand Avenue.
