Developer advances proposed 248-unit rental complex in Plantation
Wood Stone Plantation would build a four-story complex of seven apartment buildings on State Road 7

A developer won preliminary approval of a site plan for the construction of 248 rental apartments on State Road 7 in Plantation.
John Voigt, an attorney for the developer, told the Sun-Sentinel that the development would target younger renters.
The apartments would be “geared more toward the millennial crowd. That’s what the market is,” he said.
Plantation’s Planning and Zoning Board approved the site plan, which the City Council is expected to consider in June.
The development site at 311 North State Road 7 in Plantation is occupied by commercial buildings that the developer would demolish.
Wood Stone Plantation, the developer, would build a four-story complex of seven apartment buildings, plus an eighth building with a clubhouse and retail space. [Sun-Sentinel] – Mike Seemuth
