An Iowa-based company agreed to provide development consulting, marketing and managing services to the developer of a high-rise senior housing project in downtown Fort Lauderdale.
Des Moines-based LCS will help Ocean Land Investments develop and market Riverwalk Residences of Las Olas, a 42-story building that would include units for independent living, assisted living and memory care.
Construction of Riverwalk Residences is expected to start in the spring of 2019 and to conclude in the summer of 2021.
Jean-Francois Roy, president and general partner of Ocean Land Investments, visited a senior housing high-rise in downtown Chicago called The Clare, which LCS manages.
Roy said in a prepared statement that he was “very impressed with the community and how LCS made the residents their number one priority.”
LCS Development will provide development consulting for Riverwalk Residences, and another LCS company, Life Care Services, will provide marketing and management services.
Earlier this year, LCS Development to develop and market a $125 million expansion of the Tobey & Leon Cooperman Sinai Residences in Boca Raton, a two-year-old senior housing complex. – Mike Seemuth
