Real estate developer Adam Adache will propose construction of a 10-story, mixed-use building in downtown Pompano Beach.

Adache is scheduled to present his project to the city government’s Development Review Committee on June 6.

The development would include 279 rental apartments and 7,000 square feet of commercial and retail space.

Three types of apartments would be available: 480-square-foot studios, 576-square-foot units with one bedroom and 864-square-foot units with two bedrooms.

Adache told the Sun-Sentinel that the apartments are designed for young tenants. The common-area amenities would include a resort-style swimming pool.

Adache assembled a development site in Pompano Beach that spans an entire block on Northeast First Avenue at Northeast Second Street and Northeast Third Street.

Adache also is developing a boutique condominium called 30 Thirty North Ocean, which is under construction near Fort Lauderdale’s beach. He got a $17 million construction loan this year to build the 24-unit condominium. [Sun-Sentinel] – Mike Seemuth
