Construction of Palm Beach condominium reaches topped-out milestone
Prices start at $2.3 million for units at the seven-story, 30-unit condominium, 3550 South Ocean
Construction of a beachfront condominium in Palm Beach topped off at the seven-story building’s peak height.
Unit prices at the 30-unit condominium, called 3550 South Ocean, start at $2.3 million.
DDG, the developer, didn’t report the number of pre-construction sales so far. But “buyer response to 3550 South Ocean has been quite positive since the building came onto the market last year,” Howard M. Lorber, chairman of Douglas Elliman Realty LLC said in a prepared statement.
Douglas Elliman’s development marketing team is the development’s exclusive sales and marketing agent.
DDG also assembled a trio of firms to design the condominium: GarciaStromberg GSFstudios of Palm Beach, Kobi Karp Architecture of Miami and Campalimaud of New York. KAST Construction is the project’s general contractor.
Ranging in size from 2,700 square feet to more than 3,000 square feet, the residences at 3550 South Ocean Boulevard in Palm Beach will have direct access from an elevator, private-entry foyers and private balconies.
Interior features of the units will include oak flooring, floor-to-ceiling glass windows, and chef-caliber kitchens with large islands composed of stonework.
Common-area amenities will include private gated access, private parking, private beach access, a salt water swimming pool, a gym and on-site storage for surf boards and paddle boards.
DDG has opened a sales gallery for 3550 South Ocean in Manalapan at 205 South Ocean Boulevard.
The developer also formed partnerships with The Wright Fit to provide massages, training and other services to residents, and with Star Jets International to provide private jet charter service, including door-to-door ground transportation, jet selection, itinerary planning and on-board catering. – Mike Seemuth
