Arquitectonica and the Martin Brudnizki Design Studio designed the 98-room hotel, which is under construction at 2988 McFarlane Road. It will feature nautical-themed interiors and a ballroom on the top floor with views of the Biscayne Bay. The hotel’s facade is propped up by stilts, inspired by the historic Stiltsville nearby.

Main Highway Partners, led by Arquitectonica’s founding principal Bernardo Fort-Brescia, owns the property. The hotel will open this winter, according to a release.

Maggio and Ignazio Cipriani, the fourth generation of the Cipriani family, own and operate a Mr. C hotel in Beverly Hills and are currently building a Mr. C – Seaport in New York City. In Miami, the Cipriani family owns the Cipriani Downtown Miami restaurant.
