Residential real estate brokerage Compass is expanding into the Southwest Florida market by opening an office in Naples.

Fifteen agents are affiliated with the Naples office, which Compass expects to expand to more than 70 agents.

The 6,000-square-foot Naples office, now under construction at 800 Laurel Oak Drive, will be lead by sales manager Gary Nolan.

Prior to his tenure with Compass, Nolan served as senior vice president of brokerage firm Saunders & Associates and helped to recruit 150 real estate agents.

He previously was director of marketing and advertising at the Corcoran Group brokerage firm.

Among other work in Naples, Compass handles sales and marketing of Banyan Corners, a luxury townhouse development in the city’s Coquina Sands neighborhood.

The planned Compass office in Naples “is a significant step for our expansion,” Beth Butler, general manager of Compass Florida, said in a prepared statement. – Mike Seemuth
