A company tied to Jane Holzer, a famous model who worked closely with Andy Warhol, just paid $6.9 million for a beachfront home in Palm Beach.

195 Phesten Associates Palm Beach LLC, which lists its manager as Jane Holzer of Palm Beach, bought the 1,677-square-foot house at 977 South Ocean Boulevard for $4,173 per square foot from Frank Chopin, a West Palm Beach attorney. The two-bedroom, one-and-a-half-bath home was built in 1976, and sits on a 0.46-acre lot right on the beach overlooking the Atlantic Ocean.

Holzer, a native of Palm Beach, was regarded as one of the most popular models of the 1960’s appearing on the front of magazine covers. She worked closely with artist Andy Warhol and he featured her in a few of his movies, including Ciao! Manhattan. Her father was a prominent real estate developer in Palm Beach and she owns other property in the area, records show.

Chopin purchased the house in 2002 for $5 million and claimed a homestead exemption on the house in 2018. It was previously listed for $7.8 million in May 2018 by Lawrence Moens with Lawrence A. Moens Associates, according to Realtor.com.
