Aeropost subleases from Crowley Maritime in Doral

A Latin American and Caribbean logistics and e-commerce company that was recently acquired by PriceSmart just inked a 106,300-square-foot sublease at the International Corporate Park in Doral.

Aeropost Inc. is filling up a majority of the 148,750-square-foot distribution building at 9950 Northwest 17th Street. It’s leasing the space from Crowley Maritime Corp., which will continue to occupy about 42,000 square feet at the building. Crowley, a marine solutions and logistics services company, is expanding to Medley at the Flagler Station Phase II.

Transwestern’s Ben Eisenberg, Walter Byrd, Thomas Kresse and Carlos Gaviria represented the landlord, and Nick Wigoda and Steve Medwin of Newmark Knight Frank represented Aeropost.

Pricesmart, a membership warehouse club operator in Central America, the Caribbean, and Colombia, acquired Aeropost in March.

Brown & Brown Insurance, Parkson Corp. and others renew at Fort Lauderdale office campus

The Midgard Group secured about 70,000 square feet of leases, including renewals, at its Crown Center office park in Fort Lauderdale, bringing the 470,000-square-foot, six-building business park to more than 90 percent occupied.

Brown & Brown Insurance at 1201 West Cypress Creek Road; Parkson Corporation, a water solutions supplier, at 1401 West Cypress Creek Road; and international training center, PreGel, at 1475 West Cypress Creek Road all signed long-term renewals. Early Learning Coalition of Broward County is new to the office complex, signing a 15,600-square-foot lease at 1475 West Cypress Creek Road.

Colliers International South Florida’s Ronald A. Schagrin and Sal Bonsignore represented the landlord.

26 North Yachts expands to Miami Beach

Boutique yacht brokerage and charter firm 26 North Yachts just expanded to Miami Beach.

The company opened in a nearly 1,500-square-foot space at the Bentley Bay Marina at 520 West Avenue, with plans to hire up to six additional brokers over the next year.

The new office features a sales floor, reception area and access to an 18-slip marina.
