El-Ad National Properties is launching sales of a new luxury condo development in downtown Boca Raton that will be built on the Mizner on the Green site.

El-Ad, part of the Elad Group, plans to break ground on Alina Residences Boca Raton before the end of the year and deliver the project in late 2020, according to a spokesperson. Douglas Elliman was hired to handle sales and marketing of the condos, priced from about $1 million to more than $6 million. Elliman recently expanded in Boca with the acquisition of Pink Palm Properties.

Alina Residences will be built on more than 8 acres on Southeast Mizner Boulevard near the Boca Raton Golf Club. Property records show El Ad Mizner on the Green LLC has spent more than $100 million acquiring land since 2006.

The development will include a nine-story building with 121 condos – 102 of which will be fully finished and 12 will be penthouses. Those units range from one to four bedrooms between 1,400 square feet and more than 4,800 square feet overlooking the golf course. Alina will also include seven villas with lanais and private gardens, according to a release.

GarciaStromberg is designing the project. It will feature more than 32,000 square feet of residents-only outdoor amenities, a club room, fitness center, sauna, steam room, rooftop pool deck with cabanas and bike storage.

The city of Boca Raton approved plans for what was then called Mizner 200 after El-Ad reduced the density and building height of the project. Boca has seen an uptick in new development recently, including Via Mizner, a mixed-use project that includes a 12-story Mandarin Oriental Boca Raton hotel and a 92-unit luxury tower.

Boca-based El-Ad is a division of the New York-based developer. Earlier this year, the firm launched sales of San Michele Collection, a 58-unit townhouse community in Weston.
