Last phase of Coral Gables mixed-use development adds 33 condos
The developers got a temporary certificate of occupancy for the residential portion of the mixed-use Giralda Place development, which also has 57,000 square feet of office space
The residential phase of a mixed-use development in Coral Gables opened with 19 of its 33 condominium units unsold.
Prices start in the $900,000s for the remaining unsold units, which include a full-floor penthouse.
The developers got a temporary certificate of occupancy for the residential tower, completing the mixed-use Giralda Place development with 57,000 square feet of previously built office space.
The developers completed construction of the residential component of Giralda Place with 13,390 square feet of ground-floor retail space in 26 months. Heidi Eckes-Chantré developed Giralda Place together with co-developers Kim Tabet and Christopher Brown.
The development’s location at 255-275 Giralda Avenue is near the Miracle Mile section of Coral Way, a retail corridor in downtown Coral Gables. The city finished a multi-million-dollar renovation of Miracle Mile in October 2017.
The condo units have 11-foot ceilings in the living rooms and bedrooms, private balconies, high-end kitchen appliances and custom Italian cabinetry by Snaidero.
Common-area amenities include a full-floor “leisure deck” with a 48-foot swimming pool flanked by day beds and Hamptons-style lounge seating. Tenants also share a gym, 24-hour concierge service and electric vehicle charging stations. – Mike SeemuthRes
