30 Thirty North Ocean in Fort Lauderdale tops off

Cavache Properties topped off its new 30 Thirty North Ocean, a 24-unit, boutique condominium project in Fort Lauderdale Beach.

The developer scored a $17 million construction loan to build 30 Thirty in April. Construction is expected to be completed by June 2019, with prices starting at $1.25 million.

Art Basel Magazine and Artefacto host: “A Conversation: Art Basel”

Artefacto hosted a discussion moderated by Art Basel Magazine’s Sue Hostetler. Panel members discussed Art Basel and the intersection of real estate and design.

Panelists included Jay Parker of Douglas Elliman, Louis Birdman who is developing the Zaha Hadid-designed One Thousand Museum and Paulo Bacchi, the CEO of Artefacto.

Aloft opens in Aventura ParkSquare

Aloft opened in Integra Investments’ Aventura ParkSquare. The project marks the city’s first hotel to open in the last decade.

The 207-room hotel features a pool deck with lawn games, a billiards table and fitness center.

The $300 million Aventura ParkSquare at 2920 Northeast 207th Street also includes a 131-unit luxury condo building, 100,000 square feet of offices, 55,000 square feet of ground-floor retail and restaurant space, a medical center and luxury senior living facility.

Foundry’s Miami Central Commons breaks ground

Foundry Commercial and Oakwood Real Estate Partners broke ground on two new buildings within the Miami Free Zone, which they plan to rename Miami Central Commons.

The partners plan to build an 162,690-square-foot distribution center and 155,350-square-foot showroom on an adjacent 18-acre lot on the west side of the property. Fairchild Partners is in charge of leasing the property.
