Duos Hotel, Wynwood
Architecture and interior design studio MKDA just released renderings of a new boutique condo-hotel project in Wynwood.
Alessandro Ferretti and Vitrium Capital are developing the 51-room condo-hotel building on a 7,250-square-foot lot at 335 Northwest 28th Street. The 37,000-square-foot project, called Duos Hotel, is expected to be completed in 2020.
The facade of the building aims to model the video game Tetris. The project will also feature 3,000 square feet of retail, which can be used for food and beverage retailers, according to a press release.
Metropica One, Sunrise
Metropica just released renderings of its first of eight residential buildings planned for the master-planned community in west Broward.
Metopica One is part of Joseph Kavana’s $1.5 billion project in Sunrise at 1800 Northwest 136th Avenue, on the northeast corner of Sunrise Boulevard and 136th Avenue, west of Sawgrass Mills.
Once complete, it will feature a hotel, 2,250 residences, 485,000 square feet of retail-store space and 650,000 square feet of office space. Metropica One is slated for completion in early 2019.
Tower 155, Boca Raton
Compson Associates just revealed a new rendering for its Tower 155 condo project underway in Boca Raton.
The project at 155 East Boca Raton Road will feature a mix of 128 one-, two- and three-bedroom condos, and three, two-story townhomes.
It’s about 85 percent sold with prices ranging $570,000 to $2.35 million, according to a press release. Tower 155 is expected to be completed in the summer of 2019.
Pearl Riverland, Fort Lauderdale
Developer Morgan Group is proposing to convert an 11-acre mobile home community in Fort Lauderdale into a new luxury apartment complex called Pearl Riverland.
The Houston-based company plans to build up to 276 luxury rental units in six, four-story buildings. The developer recently won a Fort Lauderdale City Commission vote to rezone the property to allow for higher density.
Sunset Colony Mobile Home Park has 110 manufactured homes and is located behind a Walmart Supercenter at the intersection of Southwest 27 Avenue and West Broward Boulevard.
