A waterfront estate in the Fort Myers area is headed for a Jan. 10 auction without reserve, or a minimum bid.
Miami-based Platinum Luxury Auctions will conduct the auction of the 10,500-square-foot residence, which the owner previously offered for sale for $13.5 million.
The tri-level property has seven bedrooms, six bathrooms and three half bathrooms, and it is located on a landscaped 1.43-acre site on the north shore of Boca Grande.
The residence has more than 260 feet of frontage on Little Gasparilla Pass, and the centerpiece of the property’s courtyard is a resort-style swimming pool and a cascading water wall made of artifacts from the 1893 World’s Fair. A cabana, bar and built-in lounge area surround the pool.
The property also comes with a boat dock, the last permitted dock before entering the Gulf of Mexico. – Mike Seemuth
