Tricia Ward-Holloway and Palm Beach

Commercial developer Tricia Ward-Holloway joined Engel & Völkers Palm Beach as a license partner, where she’ll focus on growing the brokerage.

Ward-Holloway and her father, James Ward, co-founded Ward Real Estate, a Wellington-based commercial real estate firm. She’s also a past president of the Palm Beach Board of Realtors. At Engel & Völkers Palm Beach, at 150 Worth Avenue, she’s joining partners Amy Carr and Carol Sollak, who purchased the rights to the brand in 2013.

Ward-Holloway also acquired the rights to Engel & Völkers Banner Elk in North Carolina, where a number of South Florida residents have vacation homes. The town, in the Blue Ridge Mountains, is between two ski resorts. Ward-Holloway said she and her father plan to use the North Carolina brokerage as a way to raise money for their charity, donating all proceeds after expenses.

In Palm Beach, she’ll manage the Engel & Völkers office and recruit new agents. It currently has about 10 real estate agents and will at least double in size while still remaining a boutique firm, Ward-Holloway said. The Worth Avenue office focuses on deals on the island of Palm Beach, Manalapan and other high-end areas mostly east of I-95.

Competitors on the island include Sotheby’s International Realty, Corcoran Group and the Fite Group, which merged with William Raveis Real Estate.

Timo Khammash and Oliver Tonn co-own Engel & Völkers Florida, the master franchise partner, which has 27 franchise locations across the state. It’s looking to expand throughout South Florida.
