Dolphin Commerce Center hits 90 percent occupancy
Avison Young negotiated 184,000 square feet of new industrial leases at Dolphin Commerce Center, a five-building industrial park totaling 750,000 square feet of Class-A space in Miami-Dade’s Airport West submarket.
Roca Tile USA, which makes and distributes ceramic tiles, renewed its lease and expanded for a total of 134,383 square feet. That’s 25,745 square feet more than its former space at 11190 Northwest 25th Street.
FastKit Corporation, which designs and prints custom packing, renewed its 50,335-square-foot lease at 11250 Northwest 25th Street in Miami.
Avison Young’s Tom Viscount completed the transactions on behalf of the landlord, Principal Real Estate Investors, LLC. Stephen J. Di Giacomo, president of DiGiacomo Group, represented FastKit Corp.
Tiktin Real Estate leases penthouse at Citicentre in Miami
Tiktin Real Estate Investment Services, a commercial real estate firm, leased a penthouse unit at Citicentre, a Class-A office building at 290 Northwest 165th Street in Miami. The new office provides the firm with twice the square footage it has had, reflecting recent firm growth, according to a release.
In 2018, TREIS increased its sales from $26 million to over $96 million with deals that included the Ross Matz Investments’ Heron Bay office and retail portfolio in Coral Springs and the Nova Southeastern University campus in North Miami Beach.
TREIS has an additional $24 million currently under contract and over $60 million in current exclusive listings. The firm said it plans to grow its core team from eight people to 15.
Aircraft maintenance firm renews lease at Miramar Centre Business Park
Propulsion Technologies International, an aircraft maintenance company, renewed its 124,280-square-foot lease at 15301 Southwest 29th Street at the Miramar Centre Business Park.
Propulsion, owned by a joint venture between GE Aviation and Safran, will continue to occupy Building D in its entirety. The facility, built in 2006, features 24-foot clear heights and 26 docks.
CBRE’s Tom O’Loughlin and Larry Genet arranged the lease for Propulsion. CBRE’s Larry Dinner represented the landlord, Heitman.
Fairn & Swanson renews lease in Pompano Beach
Fairn & Swanson renewed its 95,540-square-foot warehouse and distribution lease at 701 Northwest 33rd Street in Pompano Beach. The facility serves the company’s supply network in the Caribbean.
Oakland, Calfironia-based Fairn & Swanson supplies travelers on cruise lines and at military installations with food, beverages, personal care products, fragrances and accessories. It has additional warehouses and distribution facilities in Los Angeles and Seattle.
The building is one of four at the 365,640-square-foot campus developed between 1991 and 1992. It offers 24-foot clear heights and dock-high loading doors.
Cushman & Wakefield’s Christopher Metzger, Richard F. Etner, Jr., Christopher Thomson and Matthew G. McAllister represented building owner Prologis in the renewal negotiations. Prologis’ Barbara Mantecon also worked on the lease.
