Mark your calendars: These are South Florida’s top real estate events next week

Next week brings a few more featured real estate events!

From March 4th to March 5th, the Florida Alternative Investment Association is holding its Real Estate & Direct Lending Forum at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino, 1 Seminole Way. This event will provide networking opportunities, as well as discussions on topics such as disruption in the short term housing market, and the economy of opportunity zones. Speakers at the event include David Halabu of Group 10 and Sara Borazan of North Capital.

Also on March 5th, the Miami Association of Realtors will be hosting an event on Bankruptcy & Real Estate: Implications and Opportunities at their headquarters, 700 South Royal Poinciana Boulevard, Suite 400 from 1:30 p.m. to 3 p.m. Attorney Roy Weinfeld will be guest speaker at the event, discussing the role of automatic stays and how they can be used to take advantage of bankruptcy in real estate.

On March 6th, Bisnow is holding an event on South Florida Retail & Mixed-Use Revolution at 3800 NE Miami Ct from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. Come to this event for chances to network, and to hear professionals speak on the dynamic change taking place in the South Florida retail market. David Peretz of East End Capital and Todd Rosenberg of Pebb Capital will be among the speakers at the event.
