The week in luxury: A map of Miami-Dade’s priciest condo sales

Top 10 sales ranged from $1.5M to $2.9M

After a sluggish few weeks, the condo market bounced back.

For the last week of February, 183 units traded for about $79 million, down from the previous week’s 78 closings for $38 million. Condos last week sold for an average price of about $433,000 or $355 per square foot.

A unit on the 27th floor of Portofino Tower in South Beach traded hands for $2.9 million, or more than $1,200 per foot, marking the week’s priciest condo sale. Unit 2701 was on the market for 86 days before it sold. Robert Conway represented the seller, and Linda Kubie brought the buyer.

The second most-expensive sale of the week was the $2.6 million closing of penthouse 6207 at 900 Biscayne. Carlo Ortiz was the listing agent and Marcela Zavala brought the buyer. The unit was on the market for 82 days before it sold, trading for $685 per foot.
