Authorities in Martin and Palm Beach counties are looking to seize South Florida condos owned by people involved in a day spa prostitution probe.

The property targeted by law-enforcement officials includes a condo near the beach in Jupiter that is partially owned by Hua Zhang, owner of the Orchids of Asia Day Spa, where Jupiter police charged more than 25 men with soliciting prostitution, including New England Patriots owner Robert Kraft and John Havens, the former president and COO of Citigroup.

The condo is off State Road A1A near Jupiter Beach Road and had a market value of $201,000 in 2018, according to the Palm Beach Post. Earlier this month, Martin County and Jupiter police filed a joint forfeiture action to take the unit from Zhang and Sheng Luo.

Zhang, who’s being held in the Palm Beach County Jail, is facing 26 charges tied to operating a prostitution business and is being held in the Palm Beach County Jail. Authorities allege the prostitution operations are tied to an international human-trafficking ring.

Authorities also seized condos in Hobe Sound and Winter Garden owned by Lei Wang, a manager at the same spa, and owner of Sequoia Apple Day in Hobe Sound, the Palm Beach Post reported. They also confiscated cars, jewelry and cellphones. [Palm Beach Post]Katherine Kallergis
